What can I expect on my first visit?

Poplar Springs Drive Baptist Church invites worshippers to experience God in a casual and worshipful atmosphere. From the moment you drive onto our campus, you’ll discover some of the friendliest people in the Meridian area.

After just a few visits to PSDBC, people usually find a wonderful Bible study class and experience the warm fellowship of like-hearted believers. We pray that you will feel the urging of the Spirit of God as He transforms your life by His word.

What should I wear?

“Come just as you are” is the way we suggest. Respectful casual attire is most common for people worshipping at PSDBC.

What is a worship service like at PSDBC?

Worship at Poplar Springs Drive Baptist Church is intentionally God-centered, celebrative, family-friendly, and blends choruses with hymns in upbeat arrangements using a variety of instruments and styles. We believe that all ages should participate in the different elements of worship.

We also believe the Bible alone is the source of truth and teaches us about the character of God, the nature of man, the way of salvation, the help in everyday life and the hope of heaven. We use every opportunity to fearlessly proclaim the timeless and matchless truths of God’s holy word.

Where do I take my children?

At PSDBC we offer first-class programs for children birth through 6th grade. Our Nursery is located in the Main Building on the First Floor right under the Worship Auditorium. There you’ll find a warm, caring, and safe environment for your precious ones, with rooms designed for each stage of development and staffed with carefully chosen workers and volunteers.

All preschoolers are located on the first floor. Your child will enjoy crafts, Bible stories, group interaction, and loving teachers who volunteer their time each week. There is a security pager system employed to give you added security and peace of mind.

Elementary age kids enjoy service each week in their own age-appropriate Bible study on the fourth floor before attending worship with their parents.

Do you have something for students?

At PSDBC we offer first-class programming for our students. They meet in the Activities Building which is behind the Main Building. They also have Sunday evening and Wednesday night times of interaction.
